Pro-Life Action League's Executive Director (and son of founder and director emeritus, Joseph Scheidler) Eric Sheidler talks about Cher's tweet about Rep. Todd Akin (first misspelled as "Aiken") as if it were a credible threat of violence.
This is in response to a question regarding to legacy of violence, bombing, intimidation and assassinations throughout the years attributed to extremists within the anti-abortion movement.

Nowhere in Cher's tweet is there an implied threat or wish of harm. Cher seems to be proposing a hypothetical situation in order to invite speculation as to a probable outcome. Obviously, the subtext is ridiculous in the extreme and bawdy in vernacular, but such is the nature of the Twitter environment.

Nowhere in Cher's tweet is the word "anal", either.

In 2006 Mr. Scheidler was found Not Guilty of violations of RICO and the Hobbs Act for acts of violence and extortion against abortion clinics and health care providers in a famous case, NOW vs Scheidler, that took 16 years to make it to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Court held that the Hobbs Act did not cover violence unrelated to robbery or extortion. The Court also noted that Congress's 1994 passage of FACE indicated that Congress did not view RICO as pertaining to this area.*

Jerry Boyle, an attorney with the National Lawyers Guild and legal observer at many Occupy Chicago demonstrations and actions, talks about Cook County Circuit Judge Thomas M. Donnelly ruling that the city unfairly singled out protesters for violating an 11 p.m. curfew in Grant Park on October 2011, when police arrested hundreds of people. The judge said the curfew itself was a violation of the public's right to free assembly.

The vielle ( /viˈɛl/) is a European bowed stringed instrument used in the Medieval period, similar to a modern violin but with a somewhat longer and deeper body, five (rather than four) gut strings, and a leaf-shaped pegbox with frontal tuning pegs. The instrument was also known as a fidel or a viuola, although the French name for the instrument, vielle, is generally used. It was one of the most popular instruments of the Medieval period, and was used by troubadours and jongleurs from the 13th through the 15th centuries. The vielle possibly derived from the lira, a Byzantine bowed instrument closely related to the rebab, an Arab bowed instrument.
