@ABC7Chicago Smears Occupy Chicago - Local Clergy Respond
Occupy Chicago supports open dialogue on Palestine
ABC - Chicago I-Team's Chuck Goudie equates that to brewing antisemitism using out-of-town newsclips and local shots of a Palestinian flag.
Rev. Loren McGrail, Ecumenical Accompaniment Program in Palestine and Israel, speaks about her reaction to distortions in the local media concerning misrepresentations of a local Palestinian speaker, the Occupy Chicago protesters and the Chicago representatives of the Jewish Defense League.

Chuck Goudie of ABC/Chicago "I-Team" investigative report on Occupy Chicago claimed "local Jewish leaders" are concerned over "growing antisemitic overtones in the Occupy movement". "Vein of anti-Semitism within Occupy demonstrations has Jewish leaders concerned" - is the header of the http file on this story. That can be read in the tab portion of your browser. The title on the page (Editor's Version) presently reads: "Occupy protests have Jewish leaders concerned"

The video clips begin with footage of flash/concussion teargas grenades going off in the streets of Oakland, California - although Mr. Goudie's focus is on a local Palestinian speaker whom he links to Occupy Chicago. Other images of disturbing signs and confrontations are also from outside Chicago. The only "Jewish Leader" seen on this "I-Team Report" is a representative of the Jewish Defense League.

Occupy Chicago Marchs On ABC News Protesting False Reporting,10/29
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgzklF2eGkk
"Occupy Chicago marched from their headquarters and paid a loud visit to the State street studios of ABC news on Saturday night. Earlier in the week ABC new's Chuck Goudie broadcast a false report concerning anti-Semitism being rampant in OccupyChicago."

"One of the things the Occupy movement is deeply concerned with is the condition of free speech and first amendment rights in this country. Everyone has the right to express their views. Occupy Chicago does not endorse one political, philosophical, or spiritual view over another. We all have the right to speak our minds. Free speech is a necessity of true democracy.
This movement has not spread across the globe because of an Israel-versus-Palestine debate. We are here to protest the influence money has on politics, how our democracy is being swung by private interests and big corporations."
